NEW YORK, NY – Despite playing a near even second half (34-30), the Macs were dropped to 0-5 on the season by the visiting Panthers from Old Westbury (2-1) in Tuesday's game. Three players scored in double figure for Yeshiva, which shot only 36% from the field as a team for the game.
Lauren Kempin recorded her first double-double of the season, and was the only player to do so on either team.
Shir Fuchs led the Macs with 16 points, followed by
Lauren Kempin with 15 and 10 rebounds.
Haley David came off the bench to score a season high 10 points in 18 minutes played.
Avigail Varnai had a season best 7 assists to go along with 5 points.
Moriah Green pulled down 5 boards in the game.
The Lady Macs will host St. Joseph's Brooklyn in a HVWAC game on Thursday at the HS for Girls in Queens. Tip-off is set for 8PM.
