NEW YORK, NY – The women's tennis team defeated New Rochelle 8-1 to pick up the first win in their spring portion of the season. The win is also the first for new coach Naomi Kaszovitz, who joined Yeshiva before the season began. Overall, the Macs are 3-6 during the 2009-10 season.

The day's only loss came in first doubles, where Stephanie Kimmel and Melissa Kessel fell 6-8. 2nd doubles players Estee Wertenheil and Esti Reichman won their match 8-2 and the 3rd doubles team of Leah Michels and Shara Feltheimer blanked their opponents 8-0.

Singles play went much better for Yeshiva, as they swept the 6 matches in quick fashion.
