NEW YORK, NY – The Yeshiva men's tennis team traveled to West Islip for the Conference semifinal matchup with the top seeded Eagles, and dropped the match 5-1. The Macs are 6-6 overall this season while the Eagles improved to 13-4. Yeshiva has one more game this season; May 9th at home against CCNY.
Zach Charles and
Joseph Itkis paired up in first singles for Yeshiva's lone victory on the windy evening. They defeated their opponent 8-6. During the playoffs, conference rules say once a team reaches 5 points, the match is over. St. Joseph's picked up second and third doubles wins, along with 3rd, 4th, and 5th singles.
At the time the match was called, Zach Charles was ahead a set on his opponent.

The Maccabees have one remaining home game this season, on May 9th against CCNY. The home contest will begin at noon at the Binghamton Racquet Club in Edgewater, NJ.
