NEW YORK, NY – The men's basketball team is still seeking their first win, after their 69-50 loss Tuesday night at the hands of Purchase College.  The game was the first conference game of the season for both teams.  Yeshiva is at 0-5 (0-1) while Purchase improved to 2-1 (1-0).
 
Dovie Hoffman led the Macs with 16 points, including 6-8 from the free throw line.  He was a rebound shy of a double-double in 32 minutes of play.  Chen Biron and Gil Bash followed with 10 points apiece.  Yeshiva shot 38% from the field and was 4-15 (27%) from behind the arc.  Purchase shot 46% from the field and 43% from long range.
 
Yeshiva is back home for their next two games, hosting Old Westbury on Thursday at 8PM and Mount Saint Vincent Saturday at 830PM.
