NEW YORK, NY – The men's soccer team was on the road Sunday at Sage, for their third consecutive Skyline conference game. The Macs fell 9-0 and are still looking to break into the win column at 0-3. Sage sits atop the Skyline standings at 4-1-1 (1-0).
The Maccabees were held to 2 shots on goal for the game, both being stopped in the second half by Sage. The Macs saw 53 shots, 33 of which were on goal. Adrian Gucouschi started in net for Yeshiva, stopping 14 while giving up 6 goals. He gave way to
Joseph Blechner who played the final 35 minutes in net, giving up 3 while stopping 10.
Yeshiva will stay on the road for the next two contests, going to Mount Saint Mary on the 13
th at 7PM, and then Old Westbury on the 16
th at 11AM. The Macs will then play 9 straight home games.
