NEW YORK, NY – The men's soccer team hosted Skyline opponent St. Joseph's College Sunday afternoon, and St. Joseph's came out on top 6-1. Yeshiva is still looking for their first win at 0-6 (0-6) while St. Joseph's improved to 2-4 (1-0) on the season.
St. Joseph's controlled the ball most of the game, taking 37 shots (23 of which were on goal).
Adam Barel made 16 saves in net, playing all 90 minutes. Yeshiva's only shot on goal came from close to 30 yards out, and was placed perfectly into the upper right corner by
Benjamin Guigui, his first goal of the season. He was setup nicely with a cross filed pass from
Simon Goldstein, also Simon's first points of the season .
The Macs will looks to get their first win on Wednesday when they take on NYU-Poly at 8PM. The game will be played at Tibbetts Brook Park.
