NEW YORK, NY – The Yeshiva men's soccer team hosted Mount Saint Vincent Sunday evening, the Macs' third game this week.  Yeshiva dropped the game 4-0 and their record fell to 0-9 on the season.  Yeshiva has a month long break from games, not playing again until the end of October.
 
Although Yeshiva matched up well with the Dolphins, they were unable to penetrate the Mount Saint Vincent defense and get off good shots on goal.  Yeshiva was limited to only 2 shots on goal, one in each half. 
 
The Yeshiva defense also played well, forcing the Dolphins offsides 5 times and holding them to 9 shots on goal.  Yeshiva allowed only 1 second half goal, which came in the 85^th minute of play.
 
Joseph Blechner was Yeshiva's goalie for all 90 minutes, making 5 stops.  Daniel Benchimol and Jack Sztrigler each accounted for 1 of Yeshiva's shots on goal.
 
Yeshiva's next day of competition will not be until October 25^th, when they play host of St. Joseph's Brooklyn at 8PM.  The game is scheduled to be played at Tibbetts Brook Park.
