New York, NY- The Yeshiva University women's basketball team faced off against The College of New Rochelle, Thursday Night, in the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Basketball Quarterfinals. Yeshiva was led by Sophomore
Rebecca Yoshor, who recorded 14 points and a career high 25 rebounds. After a tight first half, Yeshiva struggled with turnovers and lost 70-39.
In the first half, CNR could not figure out how to stop Yoshor from dominating in the paint. The sophomore shot 4-9 from the field and totaled 12 rebounds (5 offensive) with 2 blocks. Yoshor's teammates rallied around her as Yeshiva held CNR to 13 of 42 shooting and outrebounded CNR by 9 in the first half. Sophomore

The second half Yeshiva struggled versus the press and turned the ball over 23 times. The turnovers allowed CNR to take control of the game and eventually win 70-39. Even with the struggles in the second half Yeshiva still played hard, led by Yoshor who tallied 13 more rebounds in the second half.
