Box Score FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Yeshiva University men's soccer team held off Farmingdale State College for the opening 40 minutes of Wednesday afternoon's Skyline Conference contest in Long Island, but succumbed to the host Rams in the Maccabees' final game before the holiday break by a 5-0 score.
FSC took a 1-0 lead into halftime following a goal in the 42nd minute, and doubled its advantage six minutes into the second stanza on a penalty kick. Three goals in the last 18-plus minutes of the contest sealed the victory for the Rams.

Joseph Blechner (Brookline, Mass.) turned aside eight shots in the Yeshiva net.
The men's soccer team will now break for the holidays, and returns to Skyline Conference action Oct. 11, when it travels to Patchogue, N.Y., for an 8 p.m. kickoff at St. Joseph's College.
