NEW YORK - The Yeshiva University wrestling team dropped a 51-0 decision at the hands of visiting University of Scranton, Wednesday night (Jan. 30) at the Max Stern Athletic Center.

Sophomore Joshua Eisenberg (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored a three-point near fall in the first period of his 141-pound weight class versus the Royals' Pierce Keane, before succumbing in a five-point decision. Additionally, freshman Benjamin Basseri (Tarzana, Calif.) fought a spirited match in his collegiate debut at 133.

Head coach Neil Ellman's Maccabees are next in action Sunday (Feb. 3), when they travel to Riverdale, N.Y., for a tri-match at College of Mount Saint Vincent. YU will first square off with St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn at approximately 11:30 a.m., before taking on the host Dolphins immediately thereafter.
