Yeshiva (11-15) made its first appearance in the conference tournament since 2010, and utilized a 5-for-7 display from 3-point range in the second half to make its push late in the contest. Senior
Dovie Hoffman (Tarzana, Calif.; team-high 12 pts.), who finishes 17th on the Macs' all-time scoring list with 1,195 points in his illustrious four-year career, hit the go-ahead trifecta with 2:36 showing to push his side in front at 42-41. Mount Saint Mary (19-7), winners of 12 of its last 13 contests and off to the semifinals Thursday night at second-seeded Purchase, received a bucket on the low blocks from Joe Henain 13 seconds after Hoffman's triple to put the Knights back in front. From there, the Knights got a driving lay-in from Howell with 59.5 seconds left to go in front by a 46-44 count. "The Mount" then held Yeshiva scoreless for the rest of the contest, and used a 6-for-7 effort at the free-throw line to close things out.
