EDGEWATER, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's tennis team got a victory at No. 3 doubles from freshman
Charles Saka (Deal, N.J.) and sophomore
Robby Rubin (Cleveland, Ohio) on Sunday afternoon, but were unable to capture more victories from a game Mount Saint Mary College side, which scored an 8-1 decision in Skyline Conference play.
Saka and Rubin teamed up to best the Knights' Dan Witke and Conor Merryman by an 8-5 count.
In singles play, junior team captain
Jeremy Seftel (Cherry Hill, N.J.) went to a third-set super tiebreaker against MSMC's Nate Dimmie, before ultimately falling by a 10-4 score.
Head coach Jeff Menaker's Maccabees will round out their regular season Monday night (April 22), when they take on Skyline Conference foe Purchase College in an 8:30 p.m. first serve at the Billie Jean King USTA National Tennis Center.
