Throggs Neck, N.Y.— The Yeshiva men's basketball team picked up a big conference win on the road Saturday as the Maccabees beat Skyline Conference foe Maritime College 61-52.
 
The win improves Yeshiva to 5-8 (3-5 Skyline), while Maritime College is now 3-14 (1-9 Skyline).
 
The Maccabees were led by Yisrael Feld with 20 points and four assists, while Yosef Rosenthal scored 11 off the bench behind 5-of-6 shooting, along with six rebounds. Benjy Ritholtz chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds and two steals. Shlomo Weissberg grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
 
The host Privateers were led by T'Vaughn Gibson with a game-high 21 points along with six rebounds, while Brendon Halligan added nine points.
 
Yeshiva returns to action on Monday for a home contest against Polytechnic University of NYU at 8 p.m.
