EDGEWATER, N.J.— The Yeshiva men's tennis team, for the fourth consecutive match, shutout its opponent as on Thursday the Maccabees were a 9-0 winner against Skyline Conference foe, Farmingdale State College at the Binghamton Racquet Club.
The win improves the Maccabees to 6-1 (1-0 Skyline) while Farmingdale State College falls to 3-3 (1-1 Skyline).
In doubles play,
Igal Mostkov and
Steven Jemal teamed at No.1 to win 8-2. At the No. 2 doubles spot it was
Dmitri Lebedyev and
Robby Rubin earning an 8-5 victory, while at No. 3 it was
Jeremy Seftel and
Charles Saka earning an 8-5 win.
In singles play, it was Mostkov earning a 6-0, 6-1 win, while Lebedyev earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at No.2. Jemal was a winner at No.3, 6-1, 5-7, 10-6, while Seftel earned a 7-5, 6-0 victory at No. 4. At No. 5 it was Saka picking up a 6-2, 6-0 win, and at No. 6 it was Rubin picking up a 6-1, 6-3 win.
