NEWBURGH, N.Y. --- The Yeshiva University women's tennis team won at Mount Saint Mary College, 5-4 on Sunday afternoon at Kaplan Tennis Courts in Newburgh, New York.
 
Sophomore Shani Hava (Petach Tikva, Israel / Brener) completed her undefeated regular season, winning 6-1, 6-2 at number one singles to finish with a 6-0 regular season record. Hava also teamed with junior Tzipora Leiser (Teaneck, N.J. / Ma'ayanot) to win at number one doubles, 8-6. Leiser was a 6-3, 6-2 winner at number two singles. Junior Lindsay Frucher (Lawrence, N.Y. / HAFTR) won a hard-fought match at number six singles, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4.
 
With the win, Yeshiva (6-3 / 6-1 Skyline) clinches second place in the upcoming Skyline Conference Championships. They will host a playoff match this week, location, time and opponent to be announced.
