Box Score THROGGS NECK, N.Y.--- The Yeshiva University men's soccer team took a 2-1 loss at SUNY Maritime on Wednesday night at Reinhart Field in Throggs Neck, New York.
Yeshiva (6-7-2 / 5-3-2 Skyline) got on the board just before halftime when junior defenseman
Yosef Amihay Gerszberg (Nitzan, Israel / Moshe Aaron Yeshiva) took a pass through the box from freshman forward
Julian Ribak (Buenos Aires, Argentina / Hillel) and finished for his first goal of the season. The Maccabees went into the break leading 1-0.
Maritime (12-6 / 6-4 Skyline) scored the equalizer in the 64
th minute when senior Colton Gallt (Plainfield, Ill. / Plainfield South) put one in off a deflection to tie it at 1-1. The eventual game-winner was ruled an own goal, coming with just five minutes remaining in the second half. Maritime junior Corey Cartano (Raleigh, N.C. / Sanderson) took a shot from the left wing, and the ball deflected off a defender's toe to put Maritime ahead 2-1.

Ethan Harris (Boca Raton, Fla. / Weinbaum) recorded five saves in goal for the Maccabees.
Yeshiva will host their regular season finale on Friday when they play host to Berkeley College at Votee Park in Teaneck, New Jersey. Game time will be at 12:45 p.m. The Maccabees will honor their departing senior class prior to the game as part of senior day.
Yeshiva concludes their regular season conference schedule, qualifying for the Skyline Conference Championship Playoffs for the first time in school history. Based on the standings at press time, the Maccabees are projected to play at Farmingdale State on Sunday in the quarterfinals.
