Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's basketball team had its four game winning streak snapped on Monday, by falling to Skyline rival St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn, 85-68, at the Hill Center. The Maccabees fall to 6-4 overall, and 4-3 in Skyline play, while the Bears advance to 5-4 overall and an identical 4-3 record in conference contests.

For Yeshiva, senior forward
Shelby Rosenberg scored 25 points and grabbed 18 boards, which were both game-highs. In addition to his double double, he dished out three assists, and forced just as many steals.

The Maccabees trailed 45-43 in the second half, but the Bears took control of the game by going on a 15-5 run in a span of three minutes to take a commanding 60-48 lead, with just 12:19 remaining in regulation time. That would put the game out of reach for Yeshiva.

Back in the first half, the Maccabees trailed 24-13 with just over nine minutes remaining in the stanza. Yeshiva would rally for a 17-5 run, capped off by back-to-back layups courtesy of junior guard
Jordan Hod, to put Yeshiva up 30-29, with just under five minutes left to play in the opening half. St. Joseph's answered right back with seven unanswered points to go back up 36-30. Yeshiva scored the last four points of the half, all by Rosenberg, to shrink the Bears' lead to 36-34 heading into the intermission.

Yeshiva fell into another large deficit in the second half, but could not rally for a second time. As a result, the Maccabees' four game conference winning streak came to an end.

For the game, junior forward
Michael Berg produced 11 points with eight boards, five assists, and two steals. Hod scored nine points, while freshman forward
Michael Hayon added eight points.
