NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's basketball team will be in action on Wednesday evening, for a non-conference game against CCNY, at the Arc Arena on the campus of Baruch College. The contest is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
Yeshiva is in search of its first win of the season, while CCNY is 5-3 overall. Â When these two teams met last season, CCNY earned the win by a score of 66-56, at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. Â

Yeshiva is coming off a 76-61 loss to St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn in Skyline play on Monday evening. Â In that game, Yeshiva was led by sophomore forward
Michal Alge who tallied her second consecutive double-double, with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Junior guard
Tess Blaustein scored 12 points, while senior guard
Ester Kerzner and junior forward
Simee Rosner each scored 11. Â
For the season, senior forward
Julia Owen leads the Maccabees in scoring, with an average of 10.7 points per game, and dishes out 2.1 assists per contest. Alge grabs a team-high 10.9 rebounds per game.
