Box Score NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's basketball team suffered a non-conference loss to the City College of New York, 64-40, on the campus of Baruch College on Wednesday evening.
The Maccabees (0-11) trailed only 28-26 at the half, but the Beavers (6-3) outscored the home team, 20-4, in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Yeshiva was led by junior forward
Simee Rosner, who tallied 10 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and forced three steals. Senior forward
Rachel Mirsky added eight points, while sophomore forward
Michal Alge grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds, while forcing three steals.
Yeshiva will be back in action on Monday, December 28, for a match against the Dolphins out in Staten Island. The game is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.
