Box Score TEANECK, NJ --- Lehman College defeated host Yeshiva University, 3-2, in overtime in men's soccer action on Friday afternoon at Votee Park in Teaneck, New Jersey. 
The visiting Lightning got on the board in the 21
st minute when sophomore Brandon Ruiz broke through up the left side and outran the defe. nse to put a shot through. That score would hold up, with the teams going into halftime with Lehman still leading 1-0. 
In the second half, the visitors went up by two off the foot of freshman Douglas Dos Santos in the 73
rd minute, assisted by Ruiz and freshman Ciao Barbosa Mancanares. 
Trailing by two, the Maccabees would rally, scoring twice in a five minute stretch. Junior 
Itamar Ben David finished off a corner in the 79
th minute, assisted by senior 
Daniel Amar. Amar had the equalizer in the 84
th minute, receiving a cross from Ben David. The game was headed into overtime. 
In the extra period, Yeshiva had four corner kicks and two shots in the opening minutes, but was unable to come up with the game winner. Ruiz scored the eventual golden goal for Lehman in the 98
th minute, getting a short dribbler to find its way through the defense. 
In goal, sophomore 
Maor Feinstein finished with sixth saves on the day for the Maccabees. Junior Jesus Marin recorded eight stops for the Lightning. The teams equaled each other in shots at 17 while Yeshiva finished with and 11-6 edge in corner kicks. . 
The Lightning head home with a 4-4 record while the Maccabees are now 3-4-1. 
Yeshiva will be back on the field on Thursday, October 8
th when they play host to Farmingdale State College in a Skyline Conference matchup. Game time will be at 8:30 p.m. at Aviator Sports and Event Center in Brooklyn.
