Box Score TEANECK, N.J. – The Yeshiva University men's soccer team suffered a Skyline Conference loss to Old Westbury, 4-0, at Votee Park on Friday afternoon. The Panthers scored two goals in the first half, and two in the second, on their way to victory.
Leading the way for Yeshiva (2-9-1, 2-7-1 Skyline) was freshman goalkeeper
Max Goldstein, who made a career-high 12 saves.
Yeshiva had five shots on goal, but could not find the back of the net as the Panthers' (6-3-4, 4-1-1 Skyline) goalkeeper Mike Warren stopped them all to earn the shutout. Old Westbury had the edge in corner kicks, 14-6.
The Maccabees will return to Votee Park on Sunday evening, for a Skyline Conference match against the Sage Colleges, beginning at 8:30 p.m.
