NEW YORK, N.Y. – Tuesday is game night as the Yeshiva University women's basketball team will host York College in the 2016-17 home opener at the Pratt ARC in Brooklyn, N.Y., beginning at 7:00 p.m.

These two teams met in the season opener last year, as York earned a 68-54 victory.
Yeshiva begins the 2016-17 campaign with a 1-1 record. In their most recent contest, the Maccabees earned a hard-fought 51-49 road win over Pratt, this past Thursday.
 
This evening will be the last non-conference game for the Maccabees, before they go on a stretch of eight consecutive Skyline contests, beginning next Tuesday at St. Joseph's Long Island. After tonight, 18 of the remaining 20 contests in the regular season will be against conference opponents.
 
For the season, junior forward Michal Alge leads the team with an average of 19 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. Senior forward Simee Rosner is also producing a double-double per contest, averaging 12.5 points and grabbing 10.5 boards. Freshman guard Laura Betesh has a team-high seven steals so far this season.
