EDGEWATER N.J. – In a battle of defending conference champions, the Yeshiva University men's tennis team defeated Hunter College, 8-1, at the Binghamton Racquet Club on Sunday afternoon.
The Maccabees (2-1) won all three doubles matches against the defending CUNY Athletic Conference champions, and took five of six matches in singles play.

Mikey Ozery began the contest with a victory at #1 doubles, 8-2. Senior

Avi Siedman followed with an 8-3 win at #3 doubles. Senior
Dmitri Lebedyev and junior
Eitan Rudansky clinched the sweep in doubles play with an 8-3 win.
Rudansky began the singles portion of the contest with a victory at #5 singles, 6-1, 6-2. Senior
Daron Greenblatt also cruised to a win, 6-0, 6-3, in #6 singles. Lebedyev continued Yeshiva's momentum with a win at #2 singles, 6-4, 6-1. Jemal took the fourth singles match, 6-4, 6-1.
Yeshiva will be back in action on Sunday, for a non-conference match against Colby-Sawyer College, at the Binghamton Racquet Club, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
