NEW YORK, N.Y. – The 2016-17 Yeshiva University athletics' season gets underway on Thursday evening, as four teams will be playing in the first matches of the year.
The women's soccer team will host CCNY in its home opener at Randall's Island, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Maccabees and the Beavers will be playing at Wards Meadow Field-75. If you cannot make it to the match, follow the action on

The women's volleyball team battles Pratt Institute in a non-conference road contest at 7:30 p.m. Last season, the Cannoneers earned a 3-1 victory over the Maccabees at Baruch College. This is the first of two meetings between these two teams in 2016, with a rematch scheduled for Sunday, September 11 on the campus of the Culinary Institute of America. Pratt will be providing
live stats for Thursday's match.
The men's soccer team will compete in its Skyline Conference opener against St. Joseph's College – Brooklyn, at Aviator Sports and Events Center, beginning at 7:00 p.m. There will be
live stats for the key Skyline Conference matchup.
The women's tennis team will host Western Connecticut State, in a non-conference matchup, at Queens College. First serve will take place at 8:00 p.m. Last season, Yeshiva finished second in the conference standings and earned a home semifinal match in the Skyline Championships.
