BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's tennis team edged out Pratt Institute in a non-conference match, 5-4, in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Thursday evening. The Maccabees remain undefeated at 7-0.
Yeshiva won two out of three doubles contests, and won three singles flights.
In doubles, senior
Tzipora Leiser and classmate
Jenny Tepler won the second position, 9-7. Senior
Lindsay Frucher and junior
Adele Lerner won at #3 doubles, 8-2.
In singles, Tepler won the fourth flight, 10-7. Frucher won at #5 singles, 10-2, and senior
Anita Levy won the sixth position by default.
The Maccabees will battle the Sage Colleges on Sunday, at Queens College, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
