Box Score NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's basketball team earned a convincing Skyline Conference victory over Sarah Lawrence College, 73-43, at the Max Stern Athletic Center, on Wednesday evening. Yeshiva advances its record to 5-2 in Skyline contests and 9-6 overall.

It was a historical evening as the three Hod siblings, Jordan, Justin, and Tyler all appeared in the game at the same time, late in the fourth quarter. This marks the first time in NCAA Division III men's basketball history that three siblings from the same team were on the floor at the same time.

Yeshiva never trailed at any point in the contest. The Macs got on the board less than a minute into the game, as senior forward
Dean Pienica forced a steal and converted a fast-break layup, setting the tone for the rest of the team. The turning point in the opening period was Yeshiva's 9-0 run to put the home team up 19-7. The highlight of that surge was a three-point field goal by senior forward
Michael Berg. At the end of the first half, Yeshiva had secured a comfortable lead, 33-19.

Freshman guard
Simcha Halpert helped restart the Maccabees, just over a minute into the second half, by sinking two free throws. Later in the stanza, a layup by sophomore guard
Judah Cohen sparked an 8-0 run that was capped off by a pair of free throws from Berg, to give YU a commanding 43-24 lead with 13:13 remaining.

Tyler Hod checked into the game. Remaining on the court was senior guard

For the game, the Maccabees were led by Berg who produced a game-high 19 points, brought down six rebounds, and helped with two assists. Also leading the way was Halpert, who scored 13 points, forced two steals, and blocked two shots. Freshmen forward
Bar Alluf led all players in the second half with nine points. For the game, he grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists. Pienica added eight points with two blocks. Off the bench, freshman guard
Daniel Poleyeff scored six points and forced two steals. Senior forward
Eli Mamann added four points with three rebounds, while sophomore forward
Tal Gweta and freshman forward
Daniel Katz each scored two points with four rebounds. Freshman forward
Kevin Bokor and classmate
Nicolas Leibovich each grabbed two caroms, while sophomore guard
Ariel Sokol had one assist. Sophomore forward
Michael Hayon grabbed two rebounds, dished out an assist, and blocked one shot. Â
