The Maccabees will return six players from last year's team, as they look to build on a season in which they earned three wins, including a Skyline victory at Purchase College.
Expected to lead the way for the Maccabees will be senior forward
Michal Alge, who was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week on two separate occasions, and was inducted into the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll five times, during the 2016-17 season. Last year, she produced eight double-doubles, including a 24 point and 22 rebound performance to help Yeshiva come-from-behind and earn a win over York College.
The remaining returners that will provide leadership for the Macs are sophomore guard
Laura Betesh, junior guard
Penny Rabin, senior guard
Shira Feen, senior forward
Chavi Charlap, and junior guard
Nicole Bick. Yeshiva will be a young team this season, as 10 players will be entering their first season with the team.
