HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Yeshiva University men's fencing team competed in the MACFA "B" Round Robin, on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology, on Sunday afternoon. Yeshiva defeated Hunter, 16-11, but fell to Army, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and host Stevens.
In the match against Hunter, junior 
Spencer Brasch, sophomore 
Jonathan Sidlow, and junior 
Jonah Taurog each picked up an NCAA win in foil. In epee, senior 
Abraham Budow and sophomore 
Nolan Edmonson each won a bout. In sabre, senior 
Jonathan Hoffman won all three duels, while senior 
Samuel Retter and sophomore 
Jason Siev each picked up a win.
Against Stevens, Hoffman and Brasch won a sabre and foil bout, respectively.
Brasch and Sidlow each won all three foil bouts against Army.
The Maccabees will be back in action on Sunday, for the MACFA "B" vs. "C" event at the Estelle and Zoom Fleisher Athletic Center, in Newark, N.J.
