FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's tennis team cruised past St. Joseph's College Brooklyn in Skyline Conference play, 9-0, at the National Tennis Center on Wednesday evening. Yeshiva remains undefeated at 8-0 overall, and 3-0 in conference contests. The Maccabees have now won 18 straight Skyline matches, dating back to the 2014 season.
Sophomore
Adam Rosemblaum and freshman
Lior Brik teamed up to win at #1 doubles, 8-0. Rosemblaum made his debut at the first singles position, and won convincingly by scores of, 6-0, 6-0. Brik cruised at #2 doubles, 6-1, 6-0. Junior
Charlie Friedman and senior
Eitan Rudansky won at #3 singles (6-1, 6-0) and #4 singles (6-0, 6-2) respectively, with the former teaming up with senior
Adam Wannon to win at #2 doubles, 8-1.
Eitan Rudansky partnered with his younger brother,
Avidan Rudansky, to win at #3 doubles, 8-3.
Avidan Rudansky also won his fifth singles match, 6-0, 6-0. Senior
Avi Seidman dominated the sixth singles fight, 6-0, 6-1.
Yeshiva will travel to Fordham University on Friday to battle the Division I Rams. The non-conference showdown is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
