QUEENS, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's tennis team earned a convincing win over the defending four-time Skyline Conference champion Farmingdale State, 8-1, on the Queens College Tennis Courts on Thursday evening. The Maccabees start the season 2-0 in Skyline play, while the Rams fall to 0-3 overall.
Yeshiva won two out of the three doubles flights, while taking all six singles contests.

Rebecca Packer combined forces to earn the win at #1 doubles, 8-6. At #3 doubles, sophomore

Michal Ladenheim were victorious by a score of 8-4.
Hava carried her momentum into singles play, cruising to a win in the first position, 6-1, 6-0. Senior
Adele Lerner claimed the first set at #2 singles, and was winning in the second frame, before earning the win by forfeit.
Packer won at #3 singles, 6-1, 6-1, while senior
Rachel Slater won both sets at #4 singles by identical scores of 6-3.
Frohlich did not lose a single game in her dominating victory at #5 singles. Ladenheim earned a convincing win at #6 singles, 6-0, 6-1.
Yeshiva will once again be tested on Sunday, as the Maccabees host the Golden Eagles of St. Joseph's Long Island in another Skyline match. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Binghamton Racquet Club in Edgewater, N.J.
