EDGEWATER, N.J. – The Yeshiva University women's tennis team continued its strong start to the season on Tuesday, earning a Skyline victory over Sarah Lawrence College by a score of 8-0, at the Binghamton Racquet Club. The Maccabees remain undefeated, advancing to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in league play.

Deborah Frewa being named Rookie of the Week was a great way to start the week and beating Sarah Lawrence College perpetuates the momentum in a positive direction."
In doubles play, senior
Bailey Frohlich teamed with classmate
Michal Ladenheim to win the first position, 8-2. Senior
Shana Adler and junior
Leora Moskowitz were victorious in the second flight, 8-1. Frewa and senior
Amanda Berlin dominated at No. 3 doubles, 8-1.
In singles competition, Frohlich won the first position, 6-2, 6-1. Adler won every game in both sets at the second flight, while Moskowitz cruised to a win at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-0. Ladenheim did not drop a single game in her No. 4 singles victory. Senior
Alexa Hymowitz claimed the fifth singles position, 6-0, 6-2.
"We are working hard in practice and executing well in our match play," Carr said. "We couldn't be any happier with our performance and outcomes. But now isn't the time to celebrate. It's time to stay focused, maintain our composure, and keep working hard to gain those wins."
The Maccabees resume Skyline play on Thursday, against the Bears of St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, at Crotona Park. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
