NEW YORK – Senior
Bailey Frohlich, of the women's tennis team, and sophomore
Amiel Kerstein, of the golf program, have been named the Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week.
Frohlich went undefeated at No. 1 doubles and first singles flights against Skyline competition, this past week. The Boca Raton native earned victories at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Sarah Lawrence College, on Tuesday, and then followed it up with victories at both the first doubles and No. 1 singles flights against St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, on Thursday. Yeshiva is off to a 4-1 start overall, and 3-0 in the conference.
Kerstein has been named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week two consecutive times. In Yeshiva's Skyline victory over St. Joseph's College Long Island, on Friday afternoon, Kerstein led all golfers with a score of 76. He birdied on the fifth, 13
th, and 16
th holes.
