BALTIMORE – The nationally ranked No. 13 Yeshiva University men's basketball team will battle Penn State Harrisburg, in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament, on Saturday evening at Goldfarb Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:45 p.m.

Yeshiva made history on Friday afternoon by earning the team's first ever NCAA Tournament victory, defeating Worcester Polytechnic Institute by a score of 102-78.
The winner of the Yeshiva-Penn State Harrisburg Round of 32 matchup will take on either nationally ranked No. 3 Randolph-Macon College or The College of New Jersey in the third round, next weekend.
The Maccabees (28-1) and Lions (21-7) both earned automatic bids into the NCAA Tournament by winning their respective conference championships. Yeshiva earned the Skyline title, while Penn State Harrisburg claimed its first ever North Eastern Athletic Conference crown.

Ryan Turell led all players with a career-high 41 points, tying him for fourth place on YU's All-Time Single-Game Scoring List. The Los Angeles native has scored 616 points this year, which sets a program single-season scoring record. His teammate, senior guard
Simcha Halpert, was the original single-season scoring leader by netting 599 points back in the 2017-18 season.
Penn State Harrisburg earned an upset victory over host and nationally ranked No. 6 Johns Hopkins University, 104-96, in double overtime on Friday evening. Sophomore guard Donyae Baylor-Carroll set a program single-game record with 45 points during the contest. He also dished out six assists, grabbed five rebounds, and forced three steals.
The Maccabees have won a program-record 28 consecutive games since the season-opener and leads all of NCAA Division III with a 28-1 record. Turell is averaging a team-best 23.7 points per game, shooting an outstanding 63.2% from the floor and converting 44.0% of his shots from beyond the arc. Halpert is netting 16.5 points per contest, shooting 50.0% from the field and 43.0% from 3-point range. The fourth-year guard is second on YU's All-Time Scoring List with 1,824 career points.
Senior forward
Gabriel Leifer is averaging a double-double (16.2 points and 13.5 rebounds) per game. The Lawrence native is also dishing out 6.5 assists per contest and is averaging over a block and steal per game. He now has 398 assists in his career and has dished out 189 dimes this season, which are both school records.
For the Lions, Baylor-Carroll averages a team-best 19.5 points per game, while distributing 4.3 assists per contest. Sophomore forward Dylan Daniels is netting 11.8 points and grabbing 8.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 56.0% from the floor.
