MADISON, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's fencing team made its season debut at the Rangers Fall Invitational, on the campus of Drew University, on Sunday. YU dropped its team bouts to Drew University (25-2 and 21-6), Army (24-3), Vassar College (26-1), Clemson University (21-6), and Stevens Institute of Technology (26-1).

Leading the way for the Maccabees was senior Brian Bendel who won five foil bouts, including two out of three against both Army and Clemson. The Brooklyn resident also won a battle against Drew. Sophomore Alexander Siegman won four foil matchups. Two of those wins came against Drew, while the Ottawa native also won duels against Clemson and Stevens.
