NEW YORK, NY - Closing out one of the best regular seasons in program history, the Yeshiva men's soccer team has clinched the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Skyline Conference Playoffs.
Wrapping up the season with a 6-2-3 record in conference, the Maccabees proved a buzzsaw through their Skyline opponents, taking down the likes of The College of Mount Saint Vincent (4-1), St. Joseph's University Long Island (3-2), St. Joseph's University Brooklyn (3-0), The College at Old Westbury (3-0), Maritime College (3-0) and Sarah Lawrence College (3-2) en route to their place in the playoffs. The team's only conference losses on the season came during very competitive matches against the top two seeds in Farmingdale State College and Manhattanville College.
Rematching with a squad they bested early on the season, the Macs will host No. 6 seeded St. Joseph's University Long Island on Sunday, Oct. 29.
