NEW YORK – The Yeshiva University women's basketball team will play the biggest game in program history on Saturday night as they will take on College of Mount Saint Vincent in the regular season finale. Tipoff at Peter Jay Sharp Center is set for 8:30 p.m. The winner will earn a spot in the Skyline Conference Championships, while the team that fall short will have its season end. YU aims to secure its first ever berth in the Skyline Conference Championships.

Winner Takes All: Yeshiva (10-11, 7-10 Skyline) currently has a full game lead over Mount Saint Vincent (10-12, 6-11 Skyline) for the sixth and final playoff spot in the Skyline standings. However, if the Dolphins win the contest and tie the Maccabees in the standings, CMSV would win the tiebreaker due to its higher winning percentage against fifth-seeded St. Joseph's University Brooklyn (11-11, 8-9 Skyline).

Fan Bus and Live Coverage: There will be fan buses that will take YU students, faculty, and staff to and from the game at Mount Saint Vincent. The bus will pick up fans on the Beren campus at 7:20 p.m. and on the Wilf campus at 8:00 p.m. Fans who are not able to attend the game can follow the action with live streaming video which can be accessed here. Live stats will also be available at this link.

First Head-to-Head Matchup: The Maccabees and Dolphins met back on December 5 at Peter Jay Sharp Center. Yeshiva earned a thrilling come-from-behind victory in overtime, 52-51. With Yeshiva down 51-50 with just over a minute left in the extra session, junior guard Daniella Bessler received a pass from classmate Shai Rahamim and knocked down a midrange jumper to put the Blue and White in front, 52-51, with 58 seconds left to play in the overtime period. That proved to be the official game-winning shot as YU's defense came up big in the end to prevent the Dolphins from scoring and allowing the Macs to secure the crucial conference victory.

For the Maccabees: Senior guard Yuval Nitzan will lead the way for the Maccabees. She has 1,160 career points which puts her No. 1 on the Yeshiva University Women's Basketball All-Time Scoring List. She tied and surpassed Michal Alge ('19) by converting back-to-back free throws with 12 seconds remaining in Yeshiva's Skyline contest against St. Joseph's University Long Island, this past Tuesday evening, at Nat Holman Gymnasium.

This season, Nitzan is scoring 15.4 points, grabbing 7.8 rebounds, dishing out 5.6 assists, and forcing 2.9 steals per game. The Hod Hasharon native has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week twice and earned Skyline Player of the Week on January 31.

Bessler is also having a strong season for the Maccabees, generating 16.8 points, bringing down 9.0 rebounds, delivering 3.3 assists, and collecting 2.1 steals per contest.

Senior forward Daniella Rothman has produced six double-doubles this year and is averaging 9.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.

Rahamim is netting 13.4 points per battle.

For the Dolphins: Senior guard Amber Been is producing 14.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. Classmate Kira Villegas is scoring 13.6 points, grabbing 7.0 boards, forcing 3.0 steals, and delivering 1.6 assists per contest. Junior forward Melanieann Broderick leads Mount Saint Vincent with 7.6 rebounds per game, while scoring 8.0 points per competition.
