HOBOKEN, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's fencing team participated in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association (MACFA) Group "B" Round Robin, at Canavan Arena, on Sunday afternoon. Yeshiva dropped team duels to New Jersey Institute of Technology (26-1), Army (22-3), Hunter (14-7), and Stevens Institute of Technology (27-0).
Yeshiva's Sabre Team Does Well: YU's sabre team had a strong performance but just fell short to Hunter, 5-4. Junior
Benjamin Bruder won all three sabre bouts against the Hawks, while rookie
Jonathan Laredo notched a win over Hunter as well.
Laredo won two out of three sabre battles against Army, earlier in the afternoon.
YU Epee: Freshman
Aaron Bonert won an epee duel over NJIT.
