NEW YORK – The United States Fencing Coaches Association announced its 2023 list of NCAA Fencing Academic Award winners on Thursday morning. For the third year in a row, the Yeshiva University men's fencing program earned Team All-Academic Honors with an overall GPA of 3.42. Seven fencers from the YU men's program were named to the USFCA All-Academic team and six of them were bestowed with Scholar of Distinction accolades.
The Yeshiva University men's fencing team earned the Men's Scholar Team of the Year Award in each of the previous two years.
All-Academic team honors are awarded to the student-athletes at member institutions who had an in-season GPA of 3.3 or higher. Scholar of Distinction honors are presented to those student-athletes at member institutions who had an in-season GPA of 3.7 or above. The full USFCA release can be seen
