Box Score NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Capturing their second consecutive Skyline win, the Yeshiva women's Tennis team took down Mount Saint Mary College by a score of 8-1 on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
Dominant from the get go, the Maccabees blew through their doubles matches, taking wins in all three to seize a 3-0 advantage headed into singles play. Not letting their momentum dissipate, the Macs continued rolling in singles, winning all but one contest to take the match 8-1.
"Another nice conference road win," said Head Coach Ira Miller when asked about the match. "The ladies came out strong in doubles and never looked back."
With the win, the Macs are 2-2, 2-1 in conference play.

- Carrying their hot streak into their singles matches, the Macs continued to dominate, winning five of six matches in straight sets.
- Friedman (6-2, 6-1), Liederman (6-0, 6-2), Laufer (6-0, 6-2), Grunseid (6-1, 6-0) and Mutchnik (6-4, 6-3) all took home points for Yeshiva, with the team's only loss coming in No. 1 seeded match when Adler fell in a hard fought 6-1, 7-6(7) match.
