POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Competing in their first tournament of the 2024-25 season, the Yeshiva Men's Fencing Team took on the Vassar College Invitational on Sunday, Nov. 10.
The Maccabees went 0-6 on the day, falling to: Vassar College, Sacred Heart University, Drew University, Cornell University and Denison University.
With the result, the Macs are now 0-6 on the year.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Macs picked up a bout win in their loss to Vassar, with Aden Lyons coming out on top for the blue and white.
- Building on that success, sabre fencer Noam Ben Simon tallied a bout win for YU against Sacred Heart.
- The Macs picked up points against all six of their opponents, scoring one against Vassar, one against SHU, one against Drew, four against the Vassar B Team, two against Cornell and five against Denison.

Closing out competition in 2024, the Macs will compete in the MACFA A vs B meet on Sunday, Nov. 17.
