HOBOKEN, NJ - Taking on their first MACFA opponents of the year, the Yeshiva Men's Fencing Team competed in the MACFA A vs B Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 17.
The Maccabees faced off against four squads, crossing swords with: Drew University, Cornell University, Lafayette College and Rutgers University.
With the results, the Macs are now 0-10 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Macs started off slow, falling to Drew and Cornell by scores of 2-25 and 3-24 respectively.
- Yeshiva had more success up against Lafayette and Rutgers. Versus Lafayette, the Maccabees managed to score six points thanks to the sword work of Noam Ben Simon and Jonathan Werta, and tally reflected against Rutgers via bout wins from Aden Lyons, Aaron Bonert, Ben-Simon and Werta.

Not competing again until the new year, the Macs will suit up next in February for MIT's Eric Sollee Invitational.
