NEW YORK, NY - Filling one the most consequential positions in the department, Yeshiva Athletics is excited to welcome Melissa Mapes to Manhattan! Mapes serves as both the Associate Athletic Director and as the Senior Woman Administrator, heading up the Maccabee presence on the Beren Campus.
 
Mapes brings a wealth of athletic experience to YU, having spent time at such storied franchises and institutions as Canisius College, New York University, the Florida Panthers of the NHL, and the Buffalo Bills of the NFL.
 
On top of her administrative duties, Mapes is set to take over the position of head coach for Yeshiva University Softball, looking to revitalize the program under her leadership.
