HOBOKEN, NJ - Competing in their second MACFA event of the season, the Yeshiva men's fencing team traveled over to Stevens Institute of Technology to compete in the MACFA Group B Round Robin on Sunday, Feb. 4.
Taking on a number of familiar schools, the Macs faced off against the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Army at West Point, Hunter College and Stevens.
Following the tournament, the Macs now sport a 2-33 record.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Macs started off slow, dropping the first round to NJIT 0-27, and the second round to Army 4-23.
- Yeshiva's most successful bout came against Hunter College, in which YU secured 10 points to Hunters' 17. These scores came thanks to excellent swordwork from Noam Ben Simon, Jonathan Laredo, Jonathan Werta and Aaron Bonert.
- YU rounded out the day falling in round four to Stevens by a score of 3-24.

Taking part in the final MACFA event before the championships, the Macs will travel to Stevens on Sunday, Feb. 18 for the MACFA B vs C tournament.
