NEW YORK, NY - Topping off an excellent senior season,
Daniella Bessler has been named the Skyline Player of the Year for women's basketball, as announced Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Starting all 20 of the games she appeared in, Bessler stuffed the stat sheet throughout the course of the season, putting up 19.2 points (the best in the Skyline), 9.4 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. She also ranked near the top of the conference in blocks (seventh, 17) and assists (eighth, 66), achieving all this while shooting .418 from the field.

No stranger to conference accolades, Bessler was named Skyline Player of the Week twice this year, earning the award on Nov. 14 and Dec. 12.
