MADISON, NJ - Competing in a MACFA Tournament for the first time this season, the Yeshiva Men's Fencing Team took part in the MACFA A vs B Meet on Sunday, Nov. 16.
The Maccabees crossed swords with schools from across the northeast, including: Drew University, Cornell University, Lafayette College, and Rutgers University.
With the result, the Macs are now 0-11 on the year.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Maccabees started slow, falling to both Drew and Cornell by a score of 25-2.
- YU's best result came against Lafayette, in which the Macs picked up seven bout wins behind stellar swordplay from Henry Wildes and Eitan Nissel in sabre, Samuel Wallach, Judah Greenbaum, and Aden Lyons in foil, and Emmit DeHart in epee.
- Yeshiva closed out the day versus Rutgers, falling to the Scarlet Knights by a score of 22-5.
