CAMBRIDGE, MA - Traveling up to Massachusetts, the Yeshiva Men's Fencing Team took part in the Eric Sollee Invitational at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Sunday, Feb. 2nd.
The Maccabees faced off against: The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, New York University, Brandeis University and Boston College
With the results, Yeshiva is now 0-14 on the year.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Macs started off the day against MIT, picking up bout wins thanks to the swordsmanship of Avy Nakache and Aaron Bonert before falling, 25-2. Yeshiva replicated this result in rounds two and four against NYU and Boston College, picking up points thanks to the swordplay of Bonert, Nakache, Noam Ben Simon and Reuven Redlich.
- The only result that deviated from the norm came in round three. The Macs fell to Brandeis, 26-1, their lone point coming from Bonert.
