HOBOKEN, NJ - Competing in their second MACFA meet of the season, the Yeshiva Men's Fencing Team took part in the MACFA Group B Round Robin, traveling down to Stevens Institute of Technology on Sunday, Feb. 9th.
The Maccabees faced off against a trio of schools, crossing swords with Stevens, Hunter College and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
With the results, the Macs are now 0-17 on the year.
HOW IT HAPPEND
- The Maccabees struggled in rounds one and three, falling to NJIT and Stevens by scores of 27-0 and 23-4 respectively.
- Yeshiva's best showing came in round two. Taking on Hunter, Judah Greenbaum, Samuel Wallach, Aden Lyons, Eitan Nissel, Steven Galitzer, Jonathan Werta and Aaron Bonert all picked up bout wins. However, the effort fell just short, with the Macs falling, 14-13.
