Austein Announced as Head Golf Coach

NEW YORK, NY - Inserting an experienced hand to guide the Maccabees, Yeshiva Athletics has named Chad Austein the next head coach of the Golf program.

Austein has been an avid golfer nearly all his life, using that passion in recent years to compete at a local level. He has qualified for the MGA Sectional Public Links Championship for the past two years running, and has taken to the links alongside his son in the U.S. Kids Golf Tournaments, winning the Child/Parent Tournament in Connecticut last year.

Coach Austein's passion for golf will prove pivotal in the Maccabees' success, as he looks to work with his athletes to further develop their skills, confidence, and overall love of the game.

No stranger to YU, Austein currently serves as the University's Director of Enrollment Management Systems.

He is set to make his coaching debut on Tuesday, Sept. 9th, when the Macs will travel out to Wayne, NJ for the WPU Pioneer Invitational.
