NEW YORK, NY - Following strong results against a trio of conference opponents, Women's Tennis has seen two players earn Skyline recognition. Announced on Monday, Sept. 15th, Sarah Schewitz has been named Rookie of the Week, while Micka Mimoun has earned a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll.

Schewitz earns the first award of her Maccabee career following an undefeated week. The South Africa native helped YU to victories over Mount Saint Mary College and Purchase College, picking up wins in No. 2 doubles and No. 6 singles in both matchups. She then added two more points in Yeshiva's loss to St. Joseph's University Long Island, coming out on top in both singles and doubles.
 
Mimoun had a similarly successful week, playing a pivotal role in Yeshiva's pair of wins with a 2-0 record in both singles and doubles play.
 
Schewitz, Mimoun and Women's Tennis will return to the court on Tuesday, Sept. 16th, when they will take on Manhattanville University.
