The Maccabees received four votes in the poll, placing them ahead of such schools as The College of New Jersey, Wheaton College (Illinois), and Wheaton College (Massachusetts), all three of whom also notched votes of their own.

This vote of confidence from the national community comes despite significant turnover in the YU roster, with just seven of the Macs' 20 players being returners from last season's Sweet 16 run.
